You curse out loud as you look down to your phone once more. No matter how times you glance, the 'No signal' message doesn't change no matter how much you want it to. The sun is beginning to set and you can already hear the creatures of the night begin to stir to start their "day". As you quicken your pace hoping to make it further down the mountain before the moon replaces the sun, a howl stops you in your tracks. Looking back to locate the source, you're met with a blur of movement faster than your eyes can track. Before confusion can fully set in, you're pushed hard to the ground, quickly straddled and then pinned down. Looking up, a pair of glowing red eyes meets your gaze. The creature flaunts a crooked grin filled with sharp teeth.

"And here I thought that I'd have to actually work for my next meal...lucky for me that you came along, huh?"
