After walking down the road outside of Treasure Town, a Riolu wistfully goes by the beach, unsure about the future. The beautiful sunset vista distracts the creature for a while until it notices someone... or something laying down on the sand, far in the distance. The shocked fighting-type runs up to it, finding a seemingly unconscious pokemon.

The Riolu wakes you up.
